Life Protect 24/7 is searching for self‑motivated, high‑performing individuals with security experience, and a desire to advocate for team safety. If this sounds like you, you are a great candidate for our Full‑Time Security Officer.

Responsibilities

Providing security, safety, and protection of the people and property of the building.

Walking rounds in the building & on the property.

Actively watching Security Camera footage, communicating infractions with management.

Responding to calls for assistance: Code Blue – Medical Emergency; Code Red – Security issues; coordinating with Emergency Services; securing the premises of our Norfolk, VA headquarters.

Ensuring the safety of working personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings and access points, and permitting entry.

Preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures, and restraining trespassers.

Qualifications

Previous Security Experience

Must be at least 18 years of age

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to lift 50 lbs

Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal)

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time

Motivation, and desire to achieve powered by YOU!

Schedule & Pay

Schedule: Monday – Friday 3:15pm–11:15pm; eligible for full‑time benefits.

Pay: $15/hour
