Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $100,000 to $110,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements investor reports and supporting schedules for accurate fund reporting.
- Manage cash activity by preparing projections reviewing reconciliations and initiating transfers.
- Support compliance reporting by preparing lender reports loan requests and required calculations.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to support transactions and closing activities.
- Assist with audits tax preparation and investor communications including responding to inquiries.
Requirements
- A Bachelor degree in accounting or a related field.
- 3+ years of accounting experience with exposure to fund or investment environments preferred.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
- Use Microsoft Office tools effectively including Excel Word and Outlook.
- Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities.
Qualifications
- Prepare and analyze financial data to support investor reporting and compliance activities.
- Maintain strong attention to detail and accuracy across all financial documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams lenders and external advisors.
- Support process improvements and contribute to efficient reporting workflows.
- Bring professional certification system experience or exposure to investment accounting considered beneficial.
