Job Responsibilities

  • Obtains insurance information, referral forms, and counsels patients on financial assistance over the phone.
  • Schedules and registers patients over the phone or by email, with no patient contact.
  • Communicates with physicians and clinical staff to assist with scheduling urgent or referred patient scheduling calls/requests.
  • Reviews schedule for new patients, updating when necessary.
  • Calls patients with appointment time reminders, obtains insurance information, and referral forms.
  • Processes the internal physician referral for clinical care.

Qualifications

  • Patient Services experience.
  • Healthcare call center experience (1–2 years).
  • Comfortable handling inbound and outbound calls.
  • Scheduling experience is preferred but not required.

Job Type & Location

This is a contract position based out of Saint Louis, MO.

Pay & Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 – $27.00/hr.
