Staff Accountant
Location: NE Portland, OR
Compensation: $70,000-$90,000, depending on experience

What You'll Do
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities, including invoice processing, collections, deposits, allocations, and P-card reconciliations
- Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate financial records
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Support month-end close processes and reporting activities
- Monitor daily cash activity, transfers, and outstanding transactions
- Assist with audits, grant reporting, and compliance requirements
- Provide administrative and accounting support to the finance team as needed
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience
- Experience with AP, AR, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Strong Excel skills and proficiency with accounting systems
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Government, school district, nonprofit, or fund accounting experience
- Exposure to grant reporting
- Experience supporting audits
