Job Description:We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic K-3 Teacher to join our school community and inspire young minds. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, fostering a nurturing environment that encourages learning, social development, and emotional well-being. You will design and implement engaging lessons across core subjects, adapt teaching strategies to diverse learning styles, and work collaboratively with parents and staff to support each child’s growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver age-appropriate lessons in reading, math, science, and social studies.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress and adapt teaching methods as needed.
- Encourage social and emotional growth through positive behavior management.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the K-3 curriculum and teaching strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (Master’s preferred).
- Valid teaching certification for K-3 or state licensure.
- Proven experience or student teaching in K-3 settings.
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- A commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in education.
