Dishwasher Service assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential to the smooth operation of our food service environment, whether in a restaurant, hotel, or catering setting.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors as needed.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the culinary team.
• Help with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes during service periods.
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
• Follow health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
• Deep cleaning and routine assignments as delegated
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation guidelines is essential.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience in food preparation or culinary settings is a plus.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
