Fabricator and Welder

P&F Metals is seeking a qualified candidate for a Fabricator at its Turlock location . The Fabricator will fabricate and manufacture machinery and heavy equipment according to blueprints, layout plans, or other drawings. Candidate will be able to read and interpret blueprints and operate all types of fabrication tools; build, repair, and/or modify heavy equipment and conveyance equipment; use acetylene and electrical equipment in the heating, welding, cutting and brazing of metals in accordance with standard safety and trade practices; operate a lathe in the fabrication of various metal appurtenances; and cut, weld, and resurface small and large castings, braze various non-ferrous metals and hard face special metal parts. Qualified candidate will have high school diploma or equivalent with training in industrial technology, mechanical drawing, mathematics, blueprint reading highly desirable. Three years’ experience in metal work, including welding, cutting, and lathe work. Candidate must have ability to understand how a machine functions, follow oral and written instructions, safely operate a variety of hand tools, and work independently with general supervision.

Pay: $19.00 - $35.00 per hour
