Title : Dental Assistant

Job Type: Permanent - Direct Hire

Setting : Dental Office / Pediatrics

Location : Kansas City, MO (Near Worlds of Fun)

Schedule : Full-Time; Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM4:00 PM

Pay : Based on experience plus full benefits and superior PTO

This Dental Assistant role is for a growing pediatric dental facility. Duties include but may not be limited to:

• Dental assisting
• Equipment used: autoclave, processor, suction, statim, model trimmer, x-ray, amalgamator, ultrasonic, O2 and N2O
• Properly take, label, copy, file, and scan x-rays into the computer
• Legally chart the patients treatment, conversations, and special notes
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control in the office
• Provide post-operative patient care
• Assist doctor during diagnosis and treatment
• Perform clerical duties as needed, including returning voice messages, scheduling appointments, registration, etc.

Qualifications :

• Recent Dental Assistant, Hygiene Assistant, or Medical Assistant experience a plus
• Will consider a new graduate Dental Assistant
• Must be comfortable working with children
• High school graduate
