Job Title: MIG Welder
Job Description
As a Fabricator/Welder, you will be responsible for assembling and welding various metal components. You must have the ability to weld a variety of materials such as cast, steel, stainless steel, and apply all types of welding processes including TIG, MIG, and stick. You will need to record all necessary data to produce the expected service and design results, including sizing and illustrations, while maintaining a clean and organized work area. Collaboration with team members to meet production targets and deadlines is essential.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality and consistent welds daily.
- Interpret shop fabrication drawings and read a tape measure proficiently.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Ability to be creative to meet customer needs and specifications.
- Record necessary data for service and design results, including sizing and illustrations.
Essential Skills
- 1+ years of metal fabrication experience in Flux-core & MIG welding.
- Experience in tank fabrication and welding.
- Ability to interpret shop fabrication drawings.
- Proficiency in reading a tape measure.
- Experience with MIG, Flux core, carbon steel, and stainless steel welding.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes and equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools used in fabrication work.
- Experience with .035 hard wire for root, Flux core, hard wire root, fill and cap weld, .045 dual shield.

Work Environment
The work environment is an open-air shop which can be hot during the summer. You will work 1st shift from 5 am to 3 pm, Monday through Saturday. Necessary personal protective equipment includes steel-toed boots and a hood. Tools required are a square, two hold pins, level, and tape measure.

This is a Permanent position based out of Phoenix, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $32.00/hr.
