Physical Therapy Aide

Job Summary of Physical Therapy Aide:

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Physical Therapy Aide:

  • Execute physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist following state practice guidelines.

  • Collaboratively work with the team to improve patient outcomes and quality of care.
  • Fulfill regulatory standards by consistently updating and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Confirm the currency of all physician orders and ensure they are being followed as stipulated.

Qualifications and Experience of Physical Therapy Aide:

  • Earning an associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assistance mandates completion of an APTA-accredited program.
  • Having a valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Possesses impressive organizational and communication skills.
