As a Medical Assistant for our Greensboro location (GSO), you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with our dermatologists and support staff to ensure that our patients receive an excellent experience during their visits. Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining medical histories and measuring vital signs.
  • Assist the physician during dermatological examinations and procedures, ensuring all equipment and supplies are readily available.
  • Perform basic lab tests and handle specimen management for efficient laboratory processing.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including documentation of visits and procedures.
  • Schedule appointments and manage office communication efficiently.
  • Educate patients about their treatment plans, medications, and skincare routines.
  • Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.
  • Previous experience in a medical assistant role, preferably in dermatology.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dermatology practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and staff.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Proficient with electronic health records (EHR) and basic office productivity software.
