Title: Manufacturing Assembly Technician (Electromechanical) Full-time | San Diego, CA (On-site) Build high-performance hardware used in real-world applications. We’re hiring a hands-on technician for our San Diego based client to assemble and test precision electromechanical systems used in demanding environments. This is a shop-floor role for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, works well with tools, and cares about doing things right. What You’ll Do - Assemble mechanical and electrical components (wiring, connectors, circuit boards, small parts) - Perform soldering, wiring, and harness builds - Apply coatings, adhesives, and sealants based on instructions - Run functional testing and basic calibration; document results - Install components into custom housings and complete final assembly - Help troubleshoot and diagnose issues on returned units - Support inventory organization and basic shop tasks What You Bring - 3+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, assembly, machining, or similar work for electromechanical systems - Strong mechanical and electrical assembly skills - Experience with soldering and working with wiring/connectors, ideally 20+ AWG - Ability to follow drawings, diagrams, or step-by-step instructions - High attention to detail and pride in quality work - Comfortable working on your feet and building things throughout the day - Interest or experience with in performance motorsport, military, aerospace, R&D, and/or aircraft related is a plus. Nice to have (not required): - Experience with testing or calibration equipment - Familiarity with basic data collection or test software - Trade school or technical training Work Environment - On-site in a clean, organized assembly and test environment - Typical schedule: 6 AM – 2 PM, 40–45 hours/week (overtime paid) - Fast-paced but quality-driven Pay & Benefits - $32–$38/hour depending on experience (approx. $66-79K annual base) - Overtime pay and annual performance bonus - Health, dental, and vision insurance - 401(k) with company match - Paid vacation and holidays This is Ideal for: - Prefers working with their hands over sitting at a desk - Takes pride in precision and getting things right - Is reliable, consistent, and detail-oriented - Likes building real products that get used in the field
