Our client, an elite venture capital firm investing in cutting-edge technology companies, is seeking an Office & Events Manager / Executive Assistant to join their growing team in this newly created position.
This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of a collaborative small team of professionals (<15 people), partnering closely with the Senior Executive Assistant to the Founder while helping shape the employee experience and day-to-day operations of the firm.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, and approaches every day with a positive, "how can I help?" attitude. No task is too big or too small, and the right person will take pride in creating an exceptional experience for both the team and visitors.
What You'll Do
Office Operations & Culture
- Oversee the daily operations of the San Francisco office
- Manage office vendors, supplies, facilities, and general workplace operations
- Serve as the firm's Culture Ambassador, helping create a welcoming, engaging office environment
- Coordinate employee onboarding and assist with training and team-building initiatives
Events
- Plan and execute a variety of internal events, including team lunches, dinners, celebrations, offsites, and larger company gatherings
- Manage event logistics from concept through execution, working with venues, vendors, and internal stakeholders
Executive Support
- Partner with and report to the Senior Executive Assistant to the Founder
- Provide executive support including calendar management, travel coordination, meeting logistics, and special projects
- Work closely with the Founder's Personal Assistant/Estate Manager as part of a highly collaborative three-person support team
- Help ensure priorities stay organized and nothing falls through the cracks
