Unarmed Security Officer Part Time * Anaheim CA*

Job description

We are looking for a professional security officer to protect our premises, assets, and personnel. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions. The goal is to detect, deter, observe, and report.

Responsibilities and Requirements

• Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality.
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
• Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property.
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences.
• Report in detail any suspicious incidents to dispatch immediately.
• Patrol site randomly or per locations direction to retain a presence throughout the shift.
• De-escalate all situations to acquire a safe and peaceful outcome.
• Proven work experience as a security officer or relevant position.
• Ability to operate walkie talkie equipment.
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.
• Integrity and professionalism.
• Can provide their current guard card and CA drivers license.
• Bilingual is always a plus.
• Professional respectful demeanor and appearance.
• Strongly follows company's code of conduct.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be reliable and have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to maintain a high-level of accuracy, be a quick learner and work independently.
