Responsibilities:
The Surgical and Procedural (S&P) Services - Clinical Nurse (CN) delivers patient care within the surgical and procedural areas through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs with the highest professional standard while promoting nursing excellence through continued education and research, based on the Title 22 and Title 16, the ANA Scope & Standards of Practice, the Code of Ethics.
Qualifications:
Education
Graduation from a school of Nursing or successful completion of sufficient units in nursing qualifying for state licensure required
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
Licenses and Certifications
RN - Current State of California Registered Nurse license required
BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
Aditional certification requirements must be obtained within 1 year of hire or transfer into job.
Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
