Who You Are

At Justworks, we empower small businesses and entrepreneurs to thrive. As Social Media Marketing Manager, your role is to bring their stories to life and showcase our brand’s unique voice across digital platforms.

You’ll be part of the Strategic Communications team, helping to craft and execute a forward-thinking social media strategy. You’ll work on everything from tone of voice and content cadence to analytics and community management. Your Success Profile

What You Will Work On

Develop and Execute Social Media Strategy: Lead the creation and implementation of a robust social media strategy that aligns with Justworks’ broader communications and marketing goals, ensuring a consistent voice across platforms.

Content Creation Curation: Develop engaging, on-brand content that resonates with small business owners, HR professionals, and other target audiences, including posts, stories, and videos for platforms like: Linkedin, Instagram, X, and more. You will own the content calendar and scheduling and publishing of content.

Community Engagement: Foster a strong social media presence by building relationships with key audiences, drive meaningful interactions, and manage and grow Justworks’ brand following.

Crisis Management Social Listening: Monitor social platforms for potential issues, escalating when necessary, and proactively engage in social listening to identify opportunities for brand engagement and reputation management.

Collaboration with Internal Teams: Partner with Creative, Growth Marketing, Product Marketing, People team, and Customer Support to align messaging, campaigns, and goals across channels, ensuring a unified voice.

Social Media Tools Innovation: Stay informed of emerging social media trends, tools, and best practices to recommend and implement new approaches that enhance engagement and performance.

Analytics Reporting: Measure, analyze, and report on social media performance, using data-driven insights to continuously optimize content, engagement, and overall strategy.

How You Will Do Your Work

As Social Media Marketing Manager, how results are achieved is paramount for your success. The creation of systems and scalable processes is critical for this role, as is working cross-functionally across Marketing (e.g., Content, Events, Creative, etc.) and other parts of the company (e.g., People Team, Sales). In this role, your foundational knowledge, skills, abilities, and personal attributes are anchored in the following competencies:
