LHH is seeking a Recruiter with strong sourcing expertise and a background recruiting for manufacturing and industrial environments for a contract job opportunity in Charlotte, NC. This individual will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and screening top talent for a variety of positions while also providing administrative support to the recruiting team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can effectively balance recruiting responsibilities with scheduling, travel coordination, expense management, and resume review activities.

Responsibilities:

Recruiting & Sourcing

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing, supply chain, operations, engineering, skilled trades, and corporate roles.
  • Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies using LinkedIn, job boards, networking, referrals, and internal databases.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Conduct candidate outreach, phone screens, and initial assessments.
  • Evaluate candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Present qualified candidates to hiring managers with detailed summaries and recommendations.
  • Support hiring managers throughout the interview and selection process.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the ATS.

Resume Review & Candidate Assessment

  • Review and screen high volumes of resumes to identify qualified candidates.
  • Assess candidate experience against job requirements and hiring manager expectations.
  • Conduct preliminary interviews and provide candidate evaluations.
  • Coordinate candidate feedback and facilitate interview debrief discussions.

Recruiting Operations & Administrative Support

  • Schedule interviews and meetings across multiple stakeholders and time zones.
  • Coordinate candidate travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, transportation, and itineraries.
  • Process and track recruiting-related expenses, invoices, and reimbursements.
  • Prepare interview schedules, candidate packets, and recruiting reports.
  • Maintain recruiting calendars and support recruiting project coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with recruiting processes, documentation requirements, and employment regulations.

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Partner with recruiters, hiring managers, HR, and business leaders to understand hiring priorities.
  • Provide regular updates on recruiting progress, candidate pipelines, and market feedback.
  • Deliver a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Support special recruiting projects and hiring initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably within manufacturing, industrial, distribution, logistics, or engineering environments.
  • Demonstrated success sourcing passive candidates for difficult-to-fill positions.
  • Strong resume review and candidate assessment skills.
  • Experience coordinating interviews and supporting recruiting operations.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing workforce trends and recruiting strategies preferred.
