Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Property Management Administrative Assistant to support daily operations for a growing portfolio of residential and commercial properties. This role focuses on tenant communication, maintenance coordination, and keeping operations organized and on track.
Responsibilities
- Respond to tenant inquiries via email and phone
- Create and manage maintenance work orders
- Coordinate scheduling with maintenance staff and vendors
- Follow up on open work orders to ensure timely completion
- Track lease expirations and renewal timelines
- Send rent reminders and assist with basic tenant communication
- Maintain organized records and task tracking
- Support day-to-day office and field coordination as needed
Qualifications
- Property management or real estate experience preferred
- Familiarity with AppFolio or similar software strongly preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working both in an office and coordinating in the field
Ideal Candidate
- Has experience supporting property managers or similar roles
- Proactive and takes ownership of tasks
- Strong follow-up and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable interacting with tenants, vendors, and maintenance staff
