Medical Biller and Coder

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bilingual Medical Biller and Coder with a solid background in medical billing. The ideal candidate will be organized, able to handle multiple tasks, and possess exceptional attention to detail. This position is key to ensuring accurate and timely billing and coding for medical services. Previous experience in medical billing and coding is required, and bilingual skills are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process medical billing and coding for a variety of medical procedures and services
• Ensure compliance with medical codes (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS) and insurance policies
• Review patient records and assign proper codes for diagnosis, treatment, and procedures
• Follow up with insurance companies to resolve any billing issues or claim denials
• Coordinate with medical staff and other departments to gather necessary patient information
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
• Manage accounts receivable and track payments
• Handle insurance claims and appeals, ensuring timely payment
• Provide bilingual support for Spanish-speaking patients and clients, including communication of billing issues and payment options
• Maintain organized and accurate billing records for easy access and auditing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
