The Cashier Barista at Emeril's Kitchenette provides friendly, excellent service to all customers who come to the casino’s restaurant.
Greets guests quickly and courteously and fill guests’ food and beverage orders.
Helps service guests as necessary in a team aspect.
Operates cash register and properly settles checks.
Enters guests’ checks in cash register, takes money from customer and accurately gives back change.
Responsible for accurate control of cash drawer.
Understands variance policy of cash drawer and maintains low variance.
Assists the Service Attendants/Counter Attendants/Culinary areas when needed.
Handles and solves any concerns and questions from customers.
Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
High school graduate or GED required. 1-year experience in customer service.
Prior experience as a cashier required, preferably in the hospitality industry is a necessity.
Must be able to count cash drawer accurately.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to maneuver to all areas of assigned restaurant throughout entire shift.
Must be able to accurately and quickly process all cash transactions.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
