Commercial Flooring Project Manager

Aurora Flooring LLC – Anchorage, Alaska

Pay: $100,000 per year, DOE!

Compensation: Salary + Commission (DOE)

Earning Potential: $100,000+ based on performance

Aurora Flooring LLC is seeking a Commercial Flooring Project Manager to lead projects from bid through closeout while building strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and clients. This is not a coordination-only role — this is a leadership position for someone who takes pride in driving performance, holding teams accountable, and ensuring projects are executed with precision.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

  • Review plans, specs, and perform material takeoffs
  • Build detailed and competitive cost estimates
  • Coordinate with vendors for pricing and scope clarity
  • Lead awarded projects from kickoff through closeout
  • Manage in-house installation crews and labor planning
  • Visit job sites and proactively solve issues
  • Maintain communication with contractors and vendors
  • Make real-time decisions to keep projects on track

What You Bring

Required

  • High School Diploma
  • Project management experience (construction preferred)
  • Experience leading teams and driving accountability
  • Ability to read architectural plans and specifications
  • Strong math and analytical skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Strong communication + organization skills
  • Ability to work independently

Highly Preferred

  • Commercial flooring experience
  • Experience managing in-house crews
  • Takeoff software experience
  • Knowledge of flooring materials + installation methods
  • Cost estimating and vendor bid management experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform takeoffs and build detailed estimates
  • Analyze vendor pricing and identify cost risks
  • Manage projects from bid through completion
  • Lead, schedule, and support installation teams
  • Maintain strong vendor and client relationships
  • Monitor budgets, timelines, and quality standards
  • Drive performance, accountability, and productivity

Schedule

  • Full-time
  • Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Occasional on-call or weekend work based on projects
