Job Summary

We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Boiler Operators MD 1 & 2, Plumbers, Steam Fitters, and Linesmen to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and operating industrial mechanical systems, including boilers, HVAC/R systems, and plumbing infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient functioning of critical facility systems while providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Duties

  • Operate and maintain boilers, HVAC systems, pumps, valves, and other industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics, technical drawings, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
  • Repair and replace mechanical components such as pipes, fittings, pumps, and valves in accordance with safety standards.
  • Interpret technical drawings and schematics to diagnose system problems accurately.
  • Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems to identify potential issues before they escalate.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on boilers, HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and related equipment to extend lifespan and improve efficiency.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with industrial maintenance, including boiler mechanics, HVAC/R systems, plumbing, or related fields.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings effectively.
  • Hands-on experience with hydraulics, mechanical systems repair, and engineering troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of industrial equipment operation and field service procedures.
  • Ability to perform maintenance tasks safely while adhering to all safety regulations.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Relevant certifications such as MD 1 & 2 licenses or equivalent are preferred but not mandatory; ongoing training opportunities are available for growth.

Pay: $27.38 - $78.00 per hour
