We’re hiring an Insurance CSR who thrives on accuracy, follow-through, and friendly

professionalism. Prior P&C or benefits experience required. We’re looking

for someone who communicates well, takes ownership, and can support clients confidently

through high-stakes situations like claims and coverage issues.

What you’ll do

  • Serve as a key support contact for P&C and health benefits insurance needs for our

clients and their employees

  • Help employees and clients navigate claims (workers’ comp and/or other P&C

claims, and health-related claims support as applicable): gather details, route to the

right carrier/partner, track status, and keep people updated

  • Confirm employees are properly assigned/enrolled where they need to be (plans,

eligibility groups, worksites/class codes as applicable) and troubleshoot

discrepancies quickly

  • Assist with new hire enrollments, terminations, qualifying life events (QLEs), and

plan changes; ensure changes are reflected accurately and on time

  • Support open enrollment: answer questions, help with forms/process, and

coordinate with carriers/benefit platforms

  • Request, review, and organize insurance documentation (COIs, policy info, plan

materials, ID card help, summaries, etc.)

  • Communicate with carriers, brokers, and internal teams to resolve issues - then

document outcomes so nothing gets lost

  • Maintain clean, accurate records in internal systems (notes, changes, attachments,

timelines)

  • Spot patterns (repeated errors, common questions, process gaps) and bring

improvement ideas to the team

Who we’re looking for

  • You’re the kind of person who double-checks details because you care if it’s correct
  • You’re calm, kind, and steady - especially when someone is stressed about a claim

or coverage issue

  • You’re organized and timely, and you know how to juggle multiple requests at once
  • You communicate clearly (and can translate “insurance-speak” into normal human

language)

  • You’re comfortable working with sensitive information and treat confidentiality

seriously

  • You take ownership: when something’s unclear, you ask questions, find the answer,

and close the loop

  • You’re willing to learn - insurance has a learning curve, and we’ll support you

through it

What you have

  • 1+ years in P&C or Health Insurance
  • Experience in workers’ comp or health/employee benefits is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and comfort working in systems (portals, spreadsheets,

ticketing/email queues)

  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment while staying accurate
  • Experience with claims intake/follow-up, COIs, enrollments/QLEs, or carrier portals
