Physical Therapist (Peds) PRN

This Physical Therapist role involves assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, and prevent deformity in patients with injuries or diseases.

Services are provided across the continuum in a cost-effective, quality-focused, and patient-centered manner, adhering to regulatory standards.

Core responsibilities include treatment planning, patient assessment, documentation, and patient/family education. The therapist collaborates with physicians to establish and evaluate care plans, sets realistic discharge goals, and provides discharge instructions and community referrals.

Additional duties involve adhering to ethical practices, maintaining confidentiality, effective communication, and participating in staff meetings and professional development activities.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy, valid licensure, and BLS certification. Skills required are effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer proficiency.
