We're hiring a full-time W-2 Science Teacher to provide K–12 school-based services for the 2026–2027 school year. Whether you're an experienced Science Teacher or new to the field, you’ll be supported by a team that understands the real challenges and joys of this work-and is here to help you thrive.
Position Details:
- Classroom: Multiple classrooms available (5th–8th)
- Schedule: Monday – Friday
- Hours: 37.5 – 40 hours/week
- Dates: August 2026 - May 2027
- Location: On-site
Responsibilities
- Teach Science aligned with Ohio academic standards
- Plan engaging, grade-level reading and writing lessons
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Assess student progress and maintain accurate records
- Support school events and literacy initiatives
- Collaborate with staff and communicate with families
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Education, or related field
- Valid Ohio teaching license (Science endorsement preferred)
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills
- Ability to engage students with diverse learning needs
- Passion for literacy and student-centered teaching
