What You Will Do

Conduct a variety of routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests-ranging from chemistry to hematology and immunology-adhering to precise protocols. Scrutinize results for accuracy, rectify issues, and perform necessary preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments. Assist in specimen gathering and prepare samples for analysis as needed. Maintain meticulous documentation of procedures, provide training to newcomers or students, and help uphold the highest quality standards in the lab. Ensure a clean, safe working environment while fully adhering to regulatory and accreditation requirements. Education A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health certification, coupled with the ability to obtain ASCP/AMT certification. Certifications ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be acquired within one year from your date of hire. Maintain current certification throughout the duration of your employment. Skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, essential for effective collaboration within healthcare teams. Adept at exercising independent judgment and problem-solving in dynamic or high-pressure environments.
