Part Time - Medical Assistant

As a Medical Assistant, you will prepare patients for exams by taking histories and vital signs, set up treatment rooms with necessary supplies, assist with injections, lab testing, and phlebotomy, and support physicians with splints, dressings, and patient transfers. You will coordinate physicals and workplace injury assessments, screen calls for referrals, and help schedule follow-up care.

Qualifications include at least one year of clinical experience preferred, proficiency with EHR systems, graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program, and certification from the AAMA is helpful. Ability to obtain federal screening certifications within 30 days is also preferred.
