General Laborer

We are seeking dependable, safety-conscious, and reliable employees to perform a variety of manual labor tasks in warehouse, construction, manufacturing, and production work environments.

Employees may be assigned to different job sites and perform different duties based on customer needs and project requirements.

This position requires physical stamina, the ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive workplace.

Essential Job Duties

  • Perform general manual labor as assigned.
  • Load, unload, move, and organize materials and equipment.
  • Assist with construction, demolition, installation, and cleanup activities.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely.
  • Assemble and disassemble materials, equipment, or structures.
  • Assist mechanics and skilled trades personnel with repairs, maintenance, and installations.
  • Perform warehouse duties including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas.
  • Follow all customer, company, and OSHA safety policies and procedures.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Work independently or as part of a team.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
  • Previous experience in construction, warehousing, manufacturing, mechanical work, or general labor is preferred, but not required.
  • Reliable transportation to assigned work locations.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.

Physical Requirements

  • Lift and carry up to 45 pounds regularly.
  • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, squat, climb, and reach throughout the workday.
  • Push and pull heavy materials or equipment.
  • Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, or varying shifts as needed.

Work Environment

Employees may work in:

  • Construction sites
  • Warehouses
  • Manufacturing facilities
  • Industrial plants
  • Mechanical shops
  • Commercial buildings
  • Outdoor job sites

Exposure may include dust, noise, heat, cold, vibration, heavy equipment, and industrial machinery.

Safety Requirements

  • Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
  • Properly use all required PPE, including hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, hearing protection, fall protection, and high-visibility clothing when required.
  • Participate in safety meetings and training.

Preferred Skills

  • Forklift certification (if applicable).
  • Experience operating pallet jacks or material handling equipment.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to read measuring tapes and basic drawings.
  • Experience with hand and power tools.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
