This Sales Associate role is based at Store 203

• Bee Cave Rd in Austin, TX. The Sales Associate will assist in the receiving, stocking, and pricing of merchandise and will help maintain a clean and orderly merchandise presentation and overall store cleanliness. The role involves hands-on work on the sales floor and stock areas and requires interacting with customers and other associates.

You will be expected to provide a positive representation of Ace Retail Group, proactively assist customers in solving problems, greet customers entering and throughout the store, and thank customers when finished and when leaving the store. A friendly, outgoing demeanor is important. You will answer pages and calls promptly, courteously and effectively, and forward any customer complaint that cannot be handled to a member of management. Strong product knowledge and knowledge of store layout and location of products is required so you can assist customers with personal, customized service based on the premise of amazing every customer, every time.

On the operations side, the Sales Associate will assist with receiving, checking in and stocking merchandise throughout the store, maintaining back stock levels, and assisting with daily maintenance, orderliness and cleanliness of the sales floor, stock room and outdoor merchandise area. You will help provide a clean and orderly sales floor, including end caps and ad merchandise, and assist with merchandise resets through the store. Additional duties include providing assistance to Department Specialists (price changes, special orders), ensuring signage is current throughout the store, operating a forklift with proper training, communicating Store Support Center issues or merchandising/cost control/sales ideas to the General Manager, participating in store meetings, and performing other duties as assigned. Professional appearance and actions are expected.

Minimum Skills, Requirements and Qualifications:

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Formal retail experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 25lbs) and climb.
• Operate forklift with proper training.

Compensation Details $15.00-$16.00 per hour
