Mobile Automotive Glass & ADAS Technician

Image Auto Glass, the new mobile glass repair division of one of the highest-rated independent collision repair shops in Central Texas, Image Auto Body, is seeking a skilled glass installation technician.

This is an exciting opportunity to be our lead mobile glass tech. You will work with an office-based coordinator and should bring prior experience in automotive glass installation and ADAS windshield sensor/camera calibration.

This is an on-the-go position for a reliable, detail-oriented technician and driver that will cover the greater Austin area.

Responsibilities:

• Install, replace, and repair automotive glass with precision using hand tools and power tools, ensuring a perfect fit and finish.
• Calibrate ADAS windshield sensors to ensure optimal functionality after glass replacement or repair.
• Use software and photographs to document repairs accurately and communicate effectively with customers about the scope of work.
• Operate heavy lifting equipment safely when handling large or heavy glass panels or vehicle components by yourself.
• Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Prior automotive glass installation or hands-on automotive repair background, with familiarity in auto glass installation and vehicle maintenance.
• Knowledge of ADAS system calibration and troubleshooting is required
• Replace windshields and perform door or back glass work.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills to ensure precise installations and calibrations.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• English speaker that can communicate and engage with customers in a way that builds trust in the business. If you can speak both English and Spanish, that is a plus.

This is a full-time opportunity to help launch and grow our new mobile automotive glass division. Initially, work volume may vary as we continue building the business. Our goal is to establish a long-term, full-time position with significant growth potential.
