This opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) interested in making a real impact in pediatric populations. Located near Saint Paul, MN, the full-time, on-site position welcomes travel professionals. You'll play a key role collaborating with certified speech-language pathologists and school staff to deliver essential speech and communication services.

Qualifications:

  • Active State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) required
  • Experience working in pediatric settings or schools is highly preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Compassionate and adaptable approach to working with diverse student needs
  • Able to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Implement speech and language therapy programs and goals designed by the supervising SLP
  • Work with students individually or in small groups, focusing on expressive and receptive language, articulation, and social communication
  • Collect data and document student progress in alignment with individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Assist in creating engaging therapy materials and maintaining a positive learning environment
  • Communicate regularly with supervising SLP, teachers, and parents regarding student progress and challenges
  • Adhere to all school policies and professional ethical guidelines
