Contract (14 Weeks) | Days | Monday – Friday | On-Site
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities and independence
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the District of Columbia or eligibility to obtain
- Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current NBCOT certification
- Current BLS/CPR certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a clinical or acute care setting
- Strong documentation and electronic health record (EHR) skills
