What you’ll do
Lead and scale a high-performing engineering team focused on fabrication and electrical characterization of advanced test structures (MOS, MIM, FETs)
Translate complex electrical data into actionable insights (CV, IV, Dit) to guide process development and integration of ASM technologies such as ALD films
Drive innovation in testing capabilities, from fabrication processes and measurement techniques to data collection, automation and analytics
Shape future test strategies by designing novel test structures and methodologies aligned with evolving product requirements
Own project prioritization and execution, balancing multiple high-impact initiatives across stakeholders
Mentor and develop engineers, building deep expertise in device physics, fabrication, testing and data analysis
What you bring
Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or related field
Strong industry experience in semiconductor device fabrication, testing and analysis
Proven leadership experience (people management or technical leadership)
Hands-on experience with programming/scripting (Python preferred)
Your strengths
Deep expertise in device physics, semiconductor technology and process integration
Strong hands-on experience in layout design, cleanroom fabrication and process flows
Solid background in electrical testing, data analysis and interpretation of device behavior
Ability to leverage data at scale - automation, scripting and efficient analysis
Strong prioritization skills in a dynamic, fast-paced R D environment
Effective collaborator, able to influence across multidisciplinary teams
Clear communicator, able to translate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
Why this role stands out
Make a direct impact on ASM’s core technology roadmap in advanced materials and ALD
You’ll have high visibility across product groups and senior technical leadership
Have the opportunity to build and shape capabilities in electrical testing and data-driven development
This is a leadership role combining people, technology and innovation in one of the most critical areas of semiconductor R D
