A global automotive parts manufacturing company in the Novi, MI area is looking for a motivated Sales Account Manager. The ideal candidate would have couple of years’ experience in electrical background (semiconductor experience will be a plus).
Sales Account Manager Responsibilities:
- Establish relations with new and previous customers
- New business development with OEMs and Tier Supplier
- Promote electronics products and company itself
- Intelligently communicate with clients and suppliers
- Travel to customer locations and prepare reports and compile data
- Make presentations to and attend meetings with client managers and engineers
- Understand specifications for products for customer design assistance
- Responsible for price/contract negotiation
- Create data, budgets, and reports regarding sales and marketing activity
- Other Duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management

Sales Account Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering is preferred
- Minimum 2 year of business development
- Must be able to travel to customers as needed in North America
- Must have excellent presentation skills
- Experience with working in a Japanese related environment is a plus
- Some engineering knowledge or technical support experience is a plus
- This position will not support visa sponsorship
- Ability to communicate in Spanish or Japanese is a plus
- This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
