Vermont Information Processing (VIP) is looking for a detail-driven, customer-focused Sales Support Specialist to join our Sales team. In this role, you’ll be the operational backbone of our sales function—keeping deals moving, data accurate, and customers informed. Position Type: Full time, hybrid

What You’ll Do

Prepare quotes, proposals, and presentations to support the sales team.

Maintain and update customer databases and CRM systems with accurate, up-to-date information.

Coordinate sales meetings and events—scheduling, logistics, and materials prep.

Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely information on products, pricing, and availability.

Generate sales reports and analyze data to surface trends and opportunities.

Assist in developing and rolling out sales strategies and initiatives.

Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, support, and implementation teams.

Manage sales documentation and keep files organized and accessible.

What We’re Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Proven experience in a sales support or administrative role.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Experience with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) is a plus.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.

Sharp attention to detail with solid problem-solving instincts.

Customer-oriented mindset with a professional, can-do attitude.

Compensation: $53,550 - $63,000/year

Compensation is based on a variety of factors including skills, experience, and industry background. The range listed here represents our best faith estimate for the role.
