As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will perform cloud and system administration while building, maintaining, and optimizing new and existing cloud-based systems. They are currently expanding their remote team in the Philippines and are looking for a skilled, driven, and motivated Senior Cloud Engineer to play a key role in their engineering team and contribute to the company's continued growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•Propose automation/improvements and work with stakeholders to deliver win-win solutions

•Improve the capability and efficiency of the Cloud Engineering team and the company’s wider IT department

•Administer an existing Public Cloud environment – build, deploy and maintain servers (linux & windows) and services in AWS

•Manage Puppet controlled infrastructure

•Develop and build new cloud-based systems running in a Public Cloud

•Investigate new cloud technology releases for suitability to improve platform

•Prepare and maintain supporting documentation

•Lead the design and architecture of new cloud solutions, ensuring reliability, security, scalability and cost efficiency

•Support and maintain production systems, acting as escalation point for complex incidents and leading root cause analysis

•Drive security best practice and cost optimisation across the cloud environment

•Mentor and coach the Mid-level Cloud Engineer and other team members
