Position: CNC Operator / Set-up

CNC Set-Up Operator

CompX National is hiring a CNC Set-Up / Operator for our second shift.

Position Requirements:

• Set up and operate in a department of key groovers and escomatics.
• Learn to read and understand blueprints and measuring equipment.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment around oil, coolant and metal chips.
• Use hand tools as required.
• Maintain good housekeeping and organization in work area.

Pay Range: $21.43 - $28.25 Depending on experience and skill level

Second shift hours:

Monday-Friday 3:30 midnight.

Second shift premium: $1.50

Must be able to train on first shift until prepared to run machines on second shift.

Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in Manufacturing and multiple machines is highly preferred.
• Frequently able to lift or move up to 25 lbs.
• Occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent standing and walking throughout the workday.
• Frequent use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel material.
• Overtime may be required, including weekends when necessary.
