Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of landscape maintenance workers, assigning daily tasks and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion
• Perform and oversee landscape maintenance activities including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, fertilizing, and weed control
• Manage lawn care routines such as aeration, overseeding, and pest management to maintain lush, healthy turf
• Conduct tree care operations including pruning, staking, and health assessments to promote safety and growth
• Oversee irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure efficient water use across properties
• Assist with landscaping projects involving construction elements like planting beds, walkways, retaining walls, and other hardscape features
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and environmental regulations while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship

Qualifications

• MUST have a VALID Drivers License
• Bi-Lingual Prefered (English + Spanish)
• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or horticulture with a strong understanding of plant care and garden design principles
• Supervising or leadership experience in outdoor or construction environments is highly preferred
• Knowledge of lawn care techniques, tree care practices, irrigation systems, gardening methods, and general maintenance procedures
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and small construction tools safely and effectively
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team toward shared goals
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating tasks with team members and clients
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; attention to detail is essential
