IAV is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Feature Function Owner (FFO) to join our team. In this role, you will own the end-to-end delivery of energy-related software-defined features and functions, ensuring alignment across software, hardware, and vehicle integration timelines. You will serve as a key technical leader, guiding feature development from concept through production within a Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) environment.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering innovative, high-quality electrical solutions from concept through production while collaborating across engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Essential Responsibilities & Activities:

Monitor and track all energy-related features and functions to ensure alignment with hardware development timelines and program milestones

Apply deep knowledge of software-defined feature and function decomposition to validate requirements and keep feature owners on track

Support the overall Technical Program Manager (TPM) in achieving Energy Systems program objectives

Ensure R&D processes are clearly communicated, understood, and followed within the Energy Systems organization

Own end-to-end delivery of assigned system functions in alignment with the V-Model development process

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software, EE, hardware, calibration, integration, and manufacturing

Leverage domain expertise in software controls, EE, electronics, and hardware systems

Apply first-principles engineering and structured problem-solving methodologies

Lead and/or support Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and daily standups

Develop, support, and maintain best practices, standards, test procedures, and technical specifications

Attend integration meetings and proactively communicate milestones and dependencies to Energy Systems teams

Own and manage the master energy systems timeline, ensuring synchronization across teams and deliverables

Support issue resolution across development and integration phases

Travel as required

All other duties as assigned.

Thermal specific & Calibration Responsibilities:

Support the Calibration team in developing Thermal and Climate DVPs

Coordinate and refine control algorithms for advanced EV thermal management systems

Support calibration of thermal and climate functions to deliver optimal vehicle and customer performance

Ensure thermal systems meet safety, performance, and environmental regulatory requirements

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate thermal calibration solutions into the overall vehicle architecture

Lead testing, validation, and optimization of control algorithms

Drive issue resolution related to thermal calibration and software functionality
