About the Role Our client, a reputable construction and electrical services company, is seeking a skilled Electrical Installation Technician to join their team in Denver, Colorado, US . This is a hands-on, on-site role focused on the safe and efficient installation of electrical systems in commercial and residential projects. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical codes, wiring techniques, and safety protocols. You will work as part of a project team, responsible for running conduit, pulling wire, installing fixtures, and connecting electrical panels. Key Responsibilities Install electrical systems, wiring, and components in accordance with project plans and specifications. Run conduit, pull wire, and make connections for lighting, power, and control systems. Install electrical apparatus, fixtures, devices, and control equipment. Connect electrical panels, transformers, and other distribution equipment. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems, making necessary repairs. Ensure all installations comply with national and local electrical codes and safety standards. Perform testing and commissioning of newly installed electrical systems. Collaborate effectively with project managers, general contractors, and other trades on site. Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure proper use of tools and equipment. Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including lockout/tagout procedures. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited apprenticeship program or trade school certification in electrical installation is highly preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Electrical Installation Technician or Journeyman Electrician. Strong knowledge of electrical codes (NEC) and safety practices. Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics. Experience with various types of wiring, conduit installation, and electrical components. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment safely and effectively. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good physical condition, able to lift, climb, and work in various environmental conditions. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation. Must reside in or be able to commute to Denver, Colorado, US for on-site work.
