STAR Physical Therapy is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and forward-thinking individual to join our team as a Full-Time HR Coordinator in our Franklin business office. We are looking for someone who not only thrives in administrative and coordination functions, but also has the desire to grow and develop within the Human Resources field.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-driven, and able to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment while also bringing a visionary mindset — someone who can identify opportunities for improvement, collaborate with the HR team on solutions, and assist with implementing more efficient processes and workflows.
This role is ideal for someone seeking long-term professional growth in Human Resources, not simply an administrative position. The HR Coordinator will play a key role in supporting recruitment, onboarding, compliance, employee data management, and overall HR operations while partnering closely with hiring managers, candidates, leadership, and cross-functional departments throughout the organization.

Support HR process improvement initiatives and assist with implementing workflow efficiencies and organizational improvements
Recruitment & Candidate Coordination
Assist with recruitment and onboarding activities, including initiating background checks, monitoring onboarding progress, and ensuring timely completion of required documentation
Track candidate and new hire status within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), HRIS platforms, and internal tracking spreadsheets
Maintain and regularly update onboarding and recruiting spreadsheets that serve as operational dashboards to track candidates and new hires throughout various stages of the hiring and onboarding process
Proactively follow up with candidates, new hires, hiring managers, and internal departments to ensure timely communication and completion of required steps
Support hiring managers and business operations with onboarding coordination for clinic and corporate positions
Compliance & Process Execution
Verify I-9 documentation and maintain accurate records in compliance with federal regulations and company policies
Follow established HR processes, workflows, and compliance procedures with a high degree of consistency and accountability
Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Assist with employee status changes, personnel updates, and termination documentation while ensuring accuracy and compliance
Collaboration & Communication
Serve as a professional point of contact for candidates, employees, hiring managers, senior leadership, and cross-functional departments
Maintain a professional demeanor and strong customer-service mindset in all interactions
Collaborate effectively with various departments to support HR initiatives and operational needs
Communicate clearly, professionally, and timely across multiple levels of the organization
Other Duties
Perform additional HR-related duties and special projects assigned to support the overall success and effectiveness of the HR department and organization
Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
2+ years of experience in Human Resources coordination, administration, shared services, corporate support, or related environment preferred
