Job Description:

We are seeking a hands-on Robotics Lab Technician to support an international AI and Robotics challenge. You will deploy software models onto physical robotic work cells, monitor system performance, and assist global engineering teams with real-time hardware resets and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Robotics: Hands-on experience operating or monitoring automated/robotic work cells.
• Software Tools: Familiarity with managing applications via Docker or Kubernetes.
• OS & CLI: Proficient with ROS 2 and basic Linux terminal operations (specifically SSH and Bash scripting).
• Communication: Comfortable providing real-time support over chat channels to international participants.

Technical Skills

• System Monitoring & Deployment: Sideload, install, and run containerized software models onto robotic work cells using Linux/terminal.
• Hardware Intervention: Safely interact with physical hardware to perform quick fixes (e.g., swapping out a damaged network card or component on a task board).
• Participant Support: Monitor team schedules, manage live streams, and respond to live chat requests from global teams to manually reset physical objects in the work cell.
• Data Collection: Assist with initial system dry runs and capture final performance data, logs, and videos.
