Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will prepare ingredients, cook menu items, and ensure high-quality dishes are served in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with the kitchen staff to maintain consistency, cleanliness, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
- Set up and stock workstations with necessary supplies
- Ensure food is prepared in a timely and organized manner
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace in compliance with health regulations
- Follow proper food handling, safety, and hygiene practices
- Assist with food prep, portioning, and plating
- Communicate effectively with kitchen team and front-of-house staff
- Monitor inventory and report shortages or issues
Requirements
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role preferred
- Basic understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be available to work full AM or PM shift.
