Commercial Electrical Project Manager

We are hiring an experienced Commercial Electrical Project Manager to lead complex healthcare, hospital, university, and institutional electrical construction projects.

We are specifically looking for someone who has managed commercial electrical work directly for an electrical contractor or self-performing electrical construction company. The right candidate understands field production, manpower planning, procurement, labor performance, cost forecasting, and project profitability.

This is a full-ownership position. You will manage projects from preconstruction turnover through final closeout while remaining accountable for budget, schedule, field execution, client communication, and overall results.

Responsibilities

Manage commercial electrical projects from turnover and mobilization through completion and closeout

Develop project schedules, manpower plans, procurement timelines, and execution strategies

Coordinate Foremen, electricians, vendors, subcontractors, general contractors, and internal teams

Manage budgets, cost forecasts, billing, committed costs, labor performance, and profitability

Review electrical drawings, specifications, contracts, scopes of work, and project schedules

Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, material procurement, documentation, and closeout

Partner with estimating and BIM/VDC teams to confirm scope and resolve coordination issues

Lead project meetings and communicate with clients, inspectors, general contractors, and leadership

Identify labor, material, schedule, and cost risks before they affect project performance

Maintain accountability for safety, quality, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction
