What You'll Do

Deliver outstanding customer service and create a positive experience for every guest.

Assist customers with purchases, fuel transactions, and general travel center needs.

Stock merchandise, maintain displays, and keep shelves organized.

Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe facility, including sales floor, restrooms, and common areas.

Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and accurately process cash and electronic transactions.

Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards.

Assistant Manager Responsibilities

Support the General Manager with the daily operation of the travel center.

Assist with staffing, scheduling, inventory management, labor control, and overall operational performance.

Train, coach, and develop Team Members and Shift Leads.

Ensure exceptional customer service, store cleanliness, safety, and merchandising standards are maintained.

Assist with hiring, onboarding, and employee development.

Help drive sales, profitability, and team engagement while ensuring operational excellence.

Shift Lead Responsibilities

Lead and support Team Members during assigned shifts.

Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and an outstanding customer experience.

Assist with opening and closing procedures.

Support cash handling, inventory control, and daily operational tasks.

Help train new team members and maintain accountability during each shift.

Ensure company standards for safety, cleanliness, merchandising, and customer service are consistently met.

Travel Center Team Member Responsibilities

Welcome customers with a friendly and positive attitude.

Operate the cash register and process customer transactions accurately.

Stock merchandise, replenish coolers, and maintain store presentation.

Keep the travel center clean, organized, and fully stocked.

Assist customers with questions and provide prompt, courteous service.

Support teammates during busy periods and help ensure efficient daily operations.

Qualifications

Previous retail, convenience store, travel center, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Leadership experience is preferred for Assistant Manager and Shift Lead positions.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, is preferred.

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform the physical requirements of the position.
