Role Description The Insurance Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Fort Mitchell, KY. In this role, the specialist will consult with prospects and existing clients to assess coverage needs, explain policy options, and recommend tailored insurance solutions across auto, home, life, and business lines. Daily responsibilities include generating and following up on leads, preparing quotes, processing applications, and maintaining accurate client records in agency systems. The specialist will educate clients on risk management, coverage details, and policy terms, while providing ongoing support for renewals, changes, and claims inquiries. Collaboration with agency team members to meet sales goals and uphold high service standards is an essential part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales, customer service, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
  • Knowledge of personal and commercial insurance products, including auto, home, life, and business coverage, or the willingness to learn quickly.
  • Solid organizational, time management, and follow-up skills, with attention to detail in handling quotes, applications, and client documentation.
  • Proficiency with office software, CRM or agency management systems, and comfort working with digital tools to manage client information.
  • Active Property & Casualty insurance license (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe); Life & Health license is a plus.
  • Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or consultative sales is preferred but not required for highly motivated candidates.
  • Ability to work on-site in Fort Mitchell, KY, and maintain a professional, ethical, and client-focused approach in all interactions.
