Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of food items with attention to quality, presentation, and food safety standards.
- Mix and serve beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and bar areas in compliance with health regulations.
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle cashing out transactions efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests warmly, taking feedback seriously, and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure timely food delivery and drink service.
- Assist with catering events or banquets as needed, supporting large-scale food and beverage operations.
- Follow all food safety procedures related to food handling, sanitation, and alcohol service.
- Support sales efforts by upselling menu items and promoting specials to enhance guest experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in restaurant, food service, provide kitchen manager license (or obtain within 6 weeks of training)
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; basic math skills for cash handling and retail math are essential.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts.
- Experience in catering or banquet settings is advantageous but not required.
- Provide TIPS certification or (obtain within 6 weeks of training)
- Must be at least 21 years old with the ability to serve alcohol responsibly where applicable.
