Description

Conduct evaluations for patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments and create personalized treatment regimens

Deliver physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function

Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to achieve optimal outcomes

Educate patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, discharge plans, and home exercise routines

Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress according to facility and regulatory standards

Engage in interdisciplinary team rounds and conferences to ensure cohesive care for all patients

Education

~ Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree from an accredited program

Certifications

State licensure as a Physical Therapist

CPR certification is preferred

Specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

Previous experience is strongly preferred
