Duties

• Thoroughly clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas following established standards and procedures
• Handle cleaning chemicals and agents safely, adhering to Safety Data Sheets (SDS) guidelines to prevent hazards
• Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy linens, furniture, and cleaning equipment with proper technique to ensure safety
• Follow established room assignment procedures, timing expectations, and checklists.
• Manage hotel housekeeping operations efficiently by coordinating with management to prioritize tasks and maintain high standards
• Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to ensure safety for guests and staff during any incidents or evacuations
• Use janitorial equipment and industrial cleaning tools effectively to deliver superior cleanliness across all areas
• Ensure brand standards are met consistently by inspecting completed work and addressing any deficiencies.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping with a strong understanding of hospitality standards
• Skilled in handling chemical agents safely while maintaining compliance with SDS protocols
• Adept at manual handling and heavy lifting, ensuring safety during the movement of furniture, linens, or cleaning supplies
• Strong understanding of hotel housekeeping practices and guest service standards.
• Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to respond effectively in urgent situations
• Strong organizational skills in managing janitorial supplies and maintaining cleanliness schedules
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and hotel management effectively
