We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Accountant with 2-4 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a solid understanding of tax regulations, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Review and oversee payroll and payroll tax returns to meet the due date
• Review and oversee bookkeeping, sales tax payments, and sales tax returns by the due date
• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses (1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065)
• Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
• Record adjusting journal entries and prepare financial statements
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on tax matters
• Collaborate with team members to support client needs and deliver high-quality service
• Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations and apply knowledge to client engagements

Skills

• Proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and tax software (Proconnect is a plus.)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• 2+ years of experience with full-charge income tax preparation
• Ability to prepare financial statements and reports accurately
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong work ethics

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
